Social Graces and Cultural Etiquette for Elementary Students: $375

Ages 5 - 9
Dates: Sept. 4th - Nov. 16th

Graduation Nov. 20th

Overview:

The program will begin with an overview of contemporary challenges that children experience today. We will provide the basics of age appropriate etiquette, socially acceptable behavior and, introduce a new language and its cultural elements.

objectives:

Having completed this course, participating student will: 

  1. Demonstrate the rules of proper greetings and introductions

  2. Demonstrate the rules of Self-Presentation (Standing, Sitting, Walking)

  3. Describe the 4 proper uses of the napkin

  4. Demonstrate the ability to read place-settings and properly set a table

  5. Demonstrate competencies in silent service (resting and completion of a meal)

  6. Demonstrate basic language skills and cultural norms in the selected language

  7. Identify and describe the essential elements of the culture

  8. Explain and Demonstrate the rules for proper dress

  9. Each participant will receive a certification from the Intercultural School of Etiquette

relevance:

To successfully complete this course, each participant must possess the ability to demonstrate and understanding the etiquette and language training for their age appropriate lesson(s).  According to the Center for Development and Learning, “Social skills play a very important role in a child’s emotional health and well-being” (C. Lawson, 2003).   At the Intercultural School of Etiquette, we believe that teaching children proper etiquette and social skills early on, will help them treat others positively, and provide them with the tools to have positive social experiences.   

Social Graces and Cultural Etiquette for Middle School: $375

Ages 10-14
Dates: Sept. 4th - Nov. 16th

  6. Demonstrate competencies of silent service (resting and closing)

  7. Explain and Demonstrate the rules for proper dress

  8. Demonstrate basic language skills and cultural norms in the selected language

  9. Identify and describe the essential elements of the culture

  10. Each participant will receive a certification from the Intercultural School of Etiquette

To successfully complete this course, each participant must possess the ability to demonstrate and understanding the etiquette and language training for their age appropriate lesson(s).  With a rise in school bullying, we believe that teaching our children proper social graces could play a key role in learning how to avoid and/or defuse negative situations from escalating.  At the Intercultural School of Etiquette, we believe that positive presentation often yields positive results in many situations. 

 

Corporate and Cultural Etiquette Training High School Level I: $450

Overview:

This advanced program will begin with an overview of the expectations and challenges associated with the preparation for employment and goals as defined by Corporate America today. With the ever- growing demand for language skills and cultural diversity education, we will also provide the basics of social and corporate etiquette skills, introduce a new language, and its cultural elements.

Having completed this course, participating student will: 

  1. Demonstrate the rules of proper greetings, introductions and handshakes

  2. Demonstrate the rules of Self-Presentation (Standing, Sitting, Walking)

  3. Demonstrate the rules of RSVP, Host/Hostess Gifts, and Thank You Notes

  4. Demonstrate the Seven Categories of Attire

  5. Demonstrate the understanding of Formal Functions and Fun (Ring Dance, Prom)

  6. The Making of A Lady and The Gentlemen’s Game

  7. Demonstrate the “Power of Professional Networking”

  8. Demonstrate competencies of silent service (resting and closing)

  9. Demonstrate basic language skills and cultural norms in the selected language

  10. Identify and describe the essential elements of the culture

  11. Each participant will receive a certification from the Intercultural School of Etiquette

relevance:

To successfully complete this course, each participant must possess the ability to demonstrate and understanding the etiquette and language training for their age appropriate lesson(s). Participating students will graduate from the program with the knowledge desired for corporate level candidates. 

 

Power, Presence and Style – Corporate and Cultural Etiquette Seminar Level II: College Students and Adults $450

This is a 3-day Seminar with graduation dinner. The Power, Presence and Style training seminar will be held one weekend a month, every 60 days.

  8. Demonstrate basic language skills and cultural norms in the selected language

  9. Identify and describe the essential elements of the culture for business practices

  10. Practical Application

  11. Each participant will receive a certification from the Intercultural School of Etiquette
